Bosc Pears
Since the oil painting didn't turn out well at all, see below, I decided to try some watercolors. I am much happier with the simple rendering here. Should have started lower on the page, but overall, color and shading I'm pleased with. Thanks for stopping in.
Oh my gosh! I haven't been able to visit in a while (internet troubles) and am just amazed at what you've done lately. Wow! Really really wonderful work -- all of it! (Your paintings of pastries really look good enough to eat ...)
Nel, The watercolor of the bosque pears is by far my favorite. I love the surface color you achieved with the paints. Your oil paintings of desserts previously made me really hungry - I love them so much.

love more, and all good things will be yours. Swedish Proverb

Notable Quote
"Thriving as an artist--in all of its forms--our entitlement to our lives and livelihood, our imagination, our believed limitations, our expectations and dreams for our work, our professionalism, our perceived competition and, most importantly, our JOY, requires the serving of an eviction notice to the voice of doubt squatting inside us."
