Little Landscape
And here's the little landscape, from a summer photo of Lake Hollowell in Olney, a tiny and peaceful residential pond, nice place to paint, except of course, no bathrooms. Gotta find a large bush in that case. But there were a lot of geese, even a heron there on a couple of occasions this summer. They make the oddest sounds, or maybe it was a crane? Really don't know, but it was a very cool bird. Anyhow, this is one of the five in five days paintings

Oh Nel! I love this! It is so peaceful, your reflections are super and I honestly don't think you need to change a thing. It is quite painterly as is!!
Wow, this already looks very loose and painterly to me. I really envy and admire your facility with oil painting technique. The scene as painted is just lovely.

Hi all. Thanks for the comments. The sizes are small, the landscape and the eclair are 8 by 10, and the two cupcakes and large pie slice are only 5 by 7. Tiny, but that seems to be the trend with daily painting.

This is a beautiful painting - loose, but loaded with atmosphere. You can just smell the summer air. Wonderful work - keep it up, please. You dessert paintings are lovely as well.
